PADI ReActivate™ Scuba Refresher Program
The PADI ReActivate program is designed for certified divers who want to review the fundamentals of scuba diving before returning to the water. Whether you need a quick reminder of the basics or a more thorough review of your training, we'll help you get comfortable with your equipment, refresh important safety procedures, and practice essential scuba skills under the guidance of a dive professional.
What's Included?
Knowledge Review
Refresh your understanding of scuba diving principles, safety procedures, and dive planning through the PADI ReActivate eLearning program.
In-Water Skills Review
Work with a dive professional in a local pool to review essential scuba skills, equipment use, and underwater procedures in a comfortable, controlled environment.
Updated Recognition of Your Experience
Complete both components of the PADI ReActivate program to receive updated recognition of your refresher training. PADI-certified divers who meet the program requirements receive a replacement certification card displaying a “ReActivated Thru” date. Divers certified through other recognized training organizations may receive a ReActivate Recognition Card with proof of an entry-level certification.
Class Schedule & Details
When: The first Wednesday evening of each month, February through November
Time: 5:30 PM–9:00 PM
Where: Meet at Southeastern Divers on Governors Drive in Huntsville, Alabama, before heading to the pool at Oakwood University
Pool Session: Practice your scuba skills with a dive professional in a controlled environment
December & January: No classes scheduled
